umax, Utrecht Musical Axperiments; Edwin’s youngest band is an initiative by Berg with drummer JC De Ruwe. As a duo, but also together with befriended musicians, they explore the boundaries of jazz, classical, improvisation within minimal music and folklore with rhythm. Doing so they connect with a broader audience bringing an authentic, urgent, virtuoso, personal and touching performance.
